Translation workflow
From import to final download, with essential checks at every stage.
Before import
- Test the provider connection.
- Verify the active model.
- Choose the languages and glossary.
- Use an excerpt in the sandbox.
Create the project
In the Dashboard, select an .epub, .pdf, .docx, .md or .txt file. TraDoc validates its extension, size and structure before assigning a project identifier.
Submitted settings include the model, provider, endpoint, languages, segment size, temperature, concurrency, prompt, glossary and enabled options.
Start
A prepared project remains pending until started. The engine processes segments and streams progress to the interface. You can continue browsing other projects during processing.
Review
In the inspector:
- compare the source and translation;
- watch completed, pending and failed segments;
- pause the project before changing its configuration;
- resume it or retry failed segments.
Export
A completed project produces traduit_<source-name> in the original format. A partially translated project can produce apercu_partiel_<source-name> as soon as at least one segment is available.
