Configuration

Providers

Remote services, local engines and provider-specific settings.

The current interface supports:

  • OpenAI;
  • Anthropic Claude;
  • Google Gemini through its OpenAI-compatible endpoint;
  • DeepSeek;
  • OpenRouter;
  • Minimax;
  • Kimi / Moonshot;
  • GLM / Zhipu AI;
  • LM Studio;
  • Ollama.

Remote services

An API key is usually required. Check the provider's region, pricing, retention policy and rate limits before sending a manuscript.

Local services

LM Studio defaults to http://localhost:1234/v1. Ollama generally uses http://localhost:11434. In Docker, localhost refers to the TraDoc container, not the host machine: use host.docker.internal when that resolution is configured.

Independent memory

TraDoc stores the key and URL of each provider separately. Switching tabs must not overwrite another service's configuration. Non-secret settings and presets can also be stored locally in the browser.

An entered key is not a public key

Never place a key in a URL, repository, issue or screenshot. Use the private interface or your instance's environment variables.
