Getting started

First launch

Configure TraDoc and validate a first translation pipeline without processing a full book.

1. Choose the interface language

TraDoc starts in English. Under Settings → Global & Language, you can select English, French, Spanish or German. This instance-wide choice is stored by the server and does not change a project's source or target language.

2. Configure a provider

Under Settings → Providers & Models:

  1. choose the provider;
  2. verify the URL;
  3. enter a key if required;
  4. save;
  5. test the connection;
  6. select a model that is actually available.

3. Test a paragraph

Open Test, use a short non-confidential excerpt and run the translation. Check the target language, style, execution time and absence of unwanted commentary.

4. Create a small project

Open Dashboard, import a short document, choose the languages and start translation. Then use Inspector & Tracking to compare several segments.

5. Verify the export

Download the result and open it in an application suited to its format. This confirms the provider, segmentation and reconstruction before you process a long work.
